[Helium](https://heliumchina.gitbook.io/helium/www.helium.com) 是一个去中心化的无线网络，旨在为支持 LoRaWAN 标准的物联网设备提供开放、大范围的全球无线网络覆盖。

目前，Helium 区块链上已有[几十万个](https://explorer.helium.com/hotspots)网关共同组成全球最大的 LoRaWAN 网络，为各类物联网设备提供服务。

### PoC （覆盖证明）机制 <a href="#poc" id="poc"></a>

为了加速建设全球化的去中心化无线网络，Helium 建立了一套公平有效的激励机制以推动网络的拓展，这一机制称为覆盖证明 (Proof of Coverage) 。此机制包含挑战者、被挑战者与见证人3个角色，目前均由网络中的网关来承担，并都可获得相应的HNT奖励。
